The Brick Arches is the vision of Dansville residents, Liam & Shawna Gilmartin for an affordable, self-service venue within the community.  A venue where beautiful weddings would be created; community events could be held and family gatherings enjoyed.  The historic 19th century barn with its unique double walls, quaint high shuttered windows, hand-hewn beams and original beadboard finish served as part of the Culbertson family’s dairy and tree nursery operation.  In the mid 1900’s the Barn was moved to its current location where it was used to house orchard nursey stock for the family.

With Liam’s expertise as a Master Brick Mason, we were able to create a unique and stunning brick arch ceremony backdrop which sits elevated on a granite outcropping above your guests.  The image is dramatic and unforgettable.  Our couples can also select from our wooded backdrop or the popular Walnut Grove, which offers sweeping, hilltop views of the Dansville Valley and is shaded by walnut trees which remain from the historic Culbertson Tree Nursery.

  Today, while preserving its historical features, the barn has been transformed into an elegant and upscale option that is affordable to all.  Our hope is that this affordability will allow anyone in our community the ability to hold their dream event, complete with luxurious crystal chandeliers and the high-end finishes seen in much more expensive venues.
