The Dansville Area Chamber of Commerce is the voice of businesses working to build and sustain a vibrant economy and a superior quality of life in our community. The Dansville Area Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Village of Dansville and the Town of North Dansville, serves as an umbrella organization that also includes the Dansville Economic Development Corp., the Livingston County DEvelopment Corporation, multiple committees, and community members. Through the support and cooperation of these various entities, the efforts of the Chamber has become a stronger force in helping obtain and meet the goals that best serve the our local community.

The Livingston County Development Corporation [LCDC] was created to assist the communities within Livingston County with their business development. The Downtown District Revitalization
Dansville’s downtown district has embarked on significant changes over the past few years. Our buildings have seen new life with an emphasis on their historic relavance. Significant investment in the development of commercial and residential properties have resulted. Our community is beginning to once again thrive with the investment of public and private resources and the dedication of the business owners, community members & the Dansville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Our Main Street businesses worked tirelessly to acquire grants for the revitalizion of our downtown through both commercial & residential improvements such as façade renovations, interior commercial and residential building upgrades and enhancement to the streetscape. Business & community members have adopted plots of land for continued beautification through out each of the seasons. When you walk along our Main Street, you can feel the pride and see the magnificent history that has created our community.
